I have a copy of the sims but cannot get it to run. Is there a way of over coming this by using a no cd boot up or is there a patch to fix this Regards Karl

Why hide this post in this section of the forum?? Anyways, does the original install with no hiccups? If so you have a bad copy of the game.

Yes, and that doesnt answer my question as to whether the original cd installs fine.
