Would anyone tell me what that is? The problem happened when I tried to patch Neverwinter Nights. It worked grand at v1.1, but I tried v1.27 and I get that. I've even tried No-cd cracks in hope of getting around the problem, but no luck.
I'm wondering if there is anychance of help, as I'm stumped.

PS. I know in the stickies, it mentions that there is no help on patchs, but I'm REALLY stuck.

Your post is not entirely clear : did you mean that you tried to patch to 1.27 and the patch itself failed to install ? Or that since you installed the new 1.27 patch, you cannot run the game anymore ? Most importantly : do you have the original cd ?

Oh, sorry. I meant the latter. I installed the patch, and whenever I try to enter ANYTHING on the autoplay menu (be it the game itself, the toolset, even the README!).
And yes, I do have the orginal cd, but I tried the NO-CD cracks as I saw no other option. I've cruised the tech help boards, but a) I didn't see anything useful, and b) I hate asking for help from tech support (they, in my experiance, take ages in reply, by which time I've deleted the game on gone on to something else).
So any help would be apperiated, for this truley infuriating problem of mine. And thanks in advance.

Autoplay meny doen't have anything with no-cd crack to do.

However do this.
Uninstall the game complety. Then Install the game. then download the critikal 1.28 patch. I think it is about 40 MB. And it's a self-install file. OBS! CRITIKAL PATCH!!! U can found it in nwn.biowares.com
Not other patch then that one. It's can be hard to see. But install it. That uppgrade U from 1.0 to 1.28. and it's includes all the fixes and addons.

If U don't want to uninstall the game. Try to jump over that part and install the critikal patch.

If there still is a problem, find out .exe that's start the game.
U say that U have downloaded a NO-CD crack, well it should have a .exe I think the name is nwn.exe because the autostart meny is a own .exe file and it has a link to the game .exe maybe nwn.exe. So when U click on Play. The meny run the nwn.exe or somthing. Find out the .exe and run the game. Or is the problem in the game?

I don't know it the name of the patch is critikal or critical, so sorry for my English spells.

I had same problem.Downloading the critical update was a pain but worked fine.
Now running with 1.28 nocd crack from GCW>

So you had this problem? I just need to download the v1.28 critical patch? Well, if it works, I'll do it. It's just a bit annoying on a 56K modem, with a top speed of like 44K.
