View Full Version : 1:1 Copy w/ RecordNow Max
I believe RecordNow Max makes a 1:1 copy of a DVD, but does it also work for CDs? My older CD-Burner isn't compatible with CloneCD so I tried the Sims with RecordNow Max on my Pioneer 1A04. It works totally fine. I have a Messiah 2 w/ a v5 PS2. Just thought I'd check before I try again with CD-Based games and make a nice new set of coasters.

Hey m8 bit of advice it will do 1:1 but dont do it it doesnt always work properly
Exit the wizard in Recordnow MAX and right click on the drive that you want it to read from that contains the DVD game. Select "Build Global Image". Name the file whatever you want and select the location to save the file. Remember to select the read speed to "Min". Click Build. When it is done with the reading process, close that window and click "Image" at the top. Then your Image should be selectable from the drop down bar. Once it is selected, click 1X or 2X speed depending on your media. Then select drop down menu to read "record and verify". Click the "red" record button and go have some beer.
Remember to go delete the image from your hard drive later. Or else you will have a full hard drive SOON.
Hope this helps. It's what I use every time.
