ok so i've got a TEAC CD-RW W58e 8x8x32x. I need to backup my EA Sports games like Madden 2001, NHL 2001, and NBA Live 2001. Can someone please tell me which is the best burner software to download and use? I noticed most people use CloneCD... And also what r some settings that i should use? In the Control Panel --> System i click disconnect and sync data transfer, but what about in the CloneCD software? So far that's all i know...if anyone can help me or give me advice or tips it would be much appreciated.

Do some research mate.
firstly, go to the CloneCD homepage and check f your drive is compatible.
www.elaborate-bytes.com
Secondly, check what protection your games have at www.gamecopyworld.com
Or download ClonyXL from the above. this will check your CD and then pass on the parameters to CloneCD.
Also READ the info at GCW regarding copy protections and how to copy 'em. The best way to learn is to read for yourself then ask for help when you reach a particular problem.

Well said:)) ClonyXl will tell you exactly what settigns to use in clonecd and tell you what protection a cd uses. Some protections like securom won't be recognised, then istall that game and then use clony to check if it is a securom protected game!
Madden 2001 and the other 2001 games have SD1 protection.
in clonecd just tick fast error skip.
