Here is how you defeat audio protection(ANY KIND) providing you or someone you know has a standalone dual cd/player/recorder.

1st this does not circumvent their technology thru the DCMA act Because what you are doing is legal or as the saying goes if it plays and records -tough luck.
You insert a copy protected cd in the play end of above mentioned item(My friend and I used the Napster Proof Charley Pride album) and a audio CDR in the recorder end and set it for digital. once the recording is over you can play this particular cd not only in the regular cd player, but also on the computer cd-rom player.
What we essentially did was just record the sound digitally assuming you have one of those devices mentioned above.
Charley Pride's album as far as we can see is impervious to rippers except to one group who claims they modified cloneCD, but that is circumventing the DCMA act which we did not do.

The implications of this go far beyond Charley Pride, in fact all audio protection including rice krispies and fingerprint technology are by the wayside with above mentioned item.

The record companies dealt with computer's and cd-rom's and ignored
above item. I can see why, because most people have cd-rom's and computers.

Take the cd's that have safe audio and play it and they claim(I haven't because i don't have one yet)that if you rip it by conventional means you will get that morning breakfast sound on the cd you just ripped off. I would be willing to bet the way i suggested would be the same as the original.

BTW in the case of the Charley Pride album we then could take that audio CD and insert in computer and extract files and post in various places on the net which we have no intention of doing.
They claim it's Napster proof-I don;t think so anymore.

So to answer your question-know someone who has above mentioned
item and the problem is solved.

To answer my own question
Go here
####://dailynews.yahoo.com
Search BMG
Click on BMG tests...
Scroll down to msg board
Read #7, #11, #12, #13, and #15.
This came about because as you will note a person said the "crack will work" ,but will not do raw data so at first i said try it yourself if you can get said device, then i remembered a friend of a friend who had a recording studio.

Sunncomm had the information temporarily blocked until their attorney's determined that everything i posted was legal.
Here is the deal
A woman reporter took a press release about sunncomm and their copy protection and placed it on the net.
I purposely e-mailed her and tried intelligently to indicate that copy protection does not work on audio cd's and indicated that perhaps hardware might be the next thing the record companies look at.
I then sent her to htt://dailynews.yahoo.com and told her to use serach terms such as BMG, tests.. as well as search for Charley Pride. cops.. and she could read my posts.

Its scary when this woman reporter puts out a press release and reads my posts and has no idea what she is reading.
Do change your daytime job.
I knew and did this intentionally ,because i knew she would inform sunncomm and i knew it was a matter of time before it would be removed, but their attorney's who might be slightly more intelligent than the executives realized everything i posted was legal.
It would cause more problems if left off than on.
I had an attorney in the wings who was going to prove them right.
It was put back on.
