I have just tried a dvdr film in 2 different V7 machines (one modded with Messiah2, the other Magic3)

Both machines have the RGB fix (which I have tested with a game known to boot in B/W) These machines are connected to the TV via an RF lead, and the film plays in B/W!

The film is fine, I've tested that in a machine modded with the Magic2 connected via a scart lead.

Why do my films boot in B/W when using the RF lead? This is important, some peeps have old TV's that arn't equipped with scart sockets & they intend using the PS2 as a DVD player)

Thanx in advance peeps

When I play a NTSC movie in my NTSC PS2 with PAL Colour Fix connected to a PAL only TV via RGB, I get the movie playing in greyscale.

I use the NTSC to PAL convertor box to get round that. On the multi-system TV it all plays perfectly.

AllI can deduce is that the Colour Fix does not apply to DVD Movies but is triggered/managed only by the game parameters.
