order for best working backups
###raw###
clone cd - good for almost everything
blind read/write - nice interface but very buggy
-- if you cant use these then you cant do all that much! i would recomend using patches ie exe and dll replacements etc.
###non raw###
cdrwin - good for playstation
ddump - i havent used this but it is supposed to be good
patches replace dll or exe originals and are basicly the same file with the cd protection removed.
if you want more post another msg

Thats right!! LG isen't good for DAO-RAW (disk at ones) only SAO-RAW (session at ones) You need to use patches or exe with easy cd creator for pc games, or cdrwin with patches for psx games

thanks for the help

fist copy the cd then patch or what
diana
I will try to make it easy.
PC Non Protected = Copy game 1:1 using Nero Burning Rom.
PC Protected = Copy game to hdd using nero Burning Rom and get patch/crack from GCW. Follow instructions
ie. replace files in compilation as per stated.
PSX Non Protected = Copy game 1:1 using Cdrwin
PSX Protected = Copy game to hdd using Cdrwin. This will give you a bin file and a cue sheet. The Bine file is the game, the cue sheet tells cdrwin what to burn and where it is located.
Find the psx patch and using either dos commands or PPF o Matic apply the crack to the bin file. After patching , load the cue sheet into Cdrwin and copy to cd. I write protected PSX at 2 or 4x write only.
These are only my preferences , everyone does things the way they want to. My way is neither right nor wrong. It is the way I do it.
Some games are difficult to backup, most are not
You didnt include a email address so this is about the best i can do to help you.
