Uhh yea, a few questions

Yea i got a couple of questions. While hooking up the Xbox to the computer, it says FTP. I've seen the networking website, so I understand the IP Address concept. Just the basic fact is missing, with which wire are you connecting the computer to the xbox? Is there a certain hub/route needed? The second question involves boXplorer. Can you read any files of a cd and copy to the hard drive? The third question is for EvoX. Does it automatically read the files on the Hardrive? as in if you copy.. say an emulator onto the hardrive using the FTP or boXplorer, does it automatically recognize the program and put it where its designated to be or do you have to manually put it in there? 1. Both your PC and Xbox hook into a router/switch. As for routers... From my experiance, I've only gotten 2/4 routers to connect with flashfxp. Both the ones that worked had Broadband capabilities. The 2 that didn't work, did not, but they were also old.

2. You can copy files off the cd-rw same cd-rw as boxplorer. You can install evolution X without a network connection this way.

3. Evolution-X does not automatically recognize .xbe files. You have to edit the paths in your evoX.ini file yourself.

wow, thanks! that helps me a whole lot! :) . I was also wondering, if you were going to install a 120 gb hard drive, do you have to take out the original hard drive or can you keep it in?
