I'm thinking of buying a new burner instead of the one I have now (Philips), because this one does not support Clonecd. I can get a good deal on a Sony CR-X1611. According to the info I found on the site from Clonecd it supports subchannels.
Does anyone use this burner for PS2 and PSX games??? Please let me know. Thanks.
I would go to www.playstationmods.com, click on cd writers and check out the deals on the plextor 16-10-40a or the 12-10-32a.
plextors do have nice name
tryh www.121cdr.co.uk plextor 16/10/40 £70 cheaper then playstionmods :)
WOW plextor 24/*/* is £40 cheaper then playstation mods 16?*?*
personally i prefer yamaha 2100 or 2200
but plextor is fine
verbatim 80mins disks r cheaper too(quite a bit)
i guess http://www.121cdr.co.uk/ owe me some bucks with the business they going to get
:)
enjoy

I have the yamaha 2100e and I have had no problems copy pc or ps2 games. Just remember to read & write at a lower speed to gain a more reliable copy. I have made about 15 backups of ps2 and dozens of pc games.
Yes - Yamaha 2100 or 2200 for guaranteed trouble free burning.
Not to deride the others, of course.
