I jeust read the comment at foundmy.com about the wierd v5o6 and i dont really understand it . Can some1 explain it in laymans terms.

In my understanding, if you have a version 6 (see pictures on foundmy.com), you have to wait till a new revision of the messiah 2 is released.

Also, seeing a post from charlie on ps2newz.net, it seems there *might* be some issues with v7 not loading dvd-r backups.

Do you have a v6?

only problem with dvdr booting is with actel 0245 chips
all others r ok
0245 will be swapped over for good chips
