View Full Version : Who has SONY DRU500A? Can it burn protected Game CD?

I wanna buy a DVD writer.... i m deciding between SONY DRU500A and the TOSHIBA SD-R5002... I just know that TOSHIBA SD-R5002 can handle the protection pretty well but how about the sony one.... who has it?? how is it??

I try to find some review about the sony DVD writer.. but no success... I checked out the cdr-info.com but they haven't has the review yet.

Pioneer A04/A05 and the Sony DRU500 drives are both good choices. Most people on fileforums with DVD writers have one of these.

I have the Pioneer A04 and I'm very happy with it, it backups PS2 & DVD with no problems.
