Hello all,
I've finally gotten myself a pair of frigging speakers (and for free! My brother works for a company that manufactures the speakers and got them for free), but I've encountered what could be considered a very peculiar problem.
The speakers, JVC model SP-HXZ1, were actually sold as spare parts for a mini-component system (JVC HXZ1R). There are four wires that are bare (no plugs, just exposed wires), and I'm not sure if a receiver or amplifier would take those as a hi-fi would ("clamps" that snap onto the exposed wires)
In short, is there any way I could plug these speakers into a receiver/amplifier (since there are no plugs)?
I'm sorry to place this off-topic post here, but I just can't find any sound-system-specific sites that I can post on.
I'd really appreciate any help I can get here.
