im very intersted in a english link 4 you site as ive been there and downloaed mafia tutorial but it was in german (dohh)

i´ve some problems with SoftIce4.05 NT.
my computer (winXP pro) wont start softice anymore :(

newer SecuRom version like 4.85 in UT2003 are really hard to defeat. I dont have enough knowledge about SecuRom, cause i haven´t found enough good tutorials.

when i get Softice to work, i will write a tutorial about defeating some older versions SecuRom (like in Outcast...).

hey cdkiller, i read in your "Serious Sam 2 1.07" tut:

- wichtig ist die Einstellung: „API Stuff method = r!sc“
- bei der Einstellung „bOOls eYe“ werden in der EXE keine Strings dargestellt
(BUG!!!)

what goes wrong if you select my method ?
i really wonder what is could be, as this option doesn't do anything for a Safedisc 2.60.52 exe....

when i select your method and i load the EXE in Win32Dasm it doesn´t show up any Strings.
but with r!sc´s method all strings are shown.

now that's extremely weird :)
the API stuff option is only important for Safedisc 2.40.1x and 2.51.2x !

can you unwrap it once again with both methods, and then a file comparing ?

i couldn´t find any differences.
when i wrote the tut i used Win2k SP2
and Win32Dasm hasn´t shown up the strings.
but yet i´m using WinXP SP1 and both
methods work.
don´t know why... (win32dasm bug in win2k ?)
