Hitman 2 Running Problem

I get past to the part where they show the credits for the game (this is before starting); This is where they show the music composers...i hit ESC and the game closes...if i let it go it goes through credits and does the same thing. I dont know waht the problem is. I have a geforce 2 gts video card with Windows XP with Detonator 40.71 drivers installed...anyone else have this problem?

Try uninstalling those BETA drivers first. Yes they give you better FPS all round but they also stop you from playing some games.
Get the latest Official Drivers, i think they are the 30.82 set.

the 40.71 WHQL certified drivers were released earlier today..

try re-installing the video card or the game..

I had no idea there were new drivers out. Assumed they were still those buggy Beta drivers that Nvidia had been pimping.

i used the 31.00 drivers after uninstalling my previous ones and it still doesn't work...i will try to reinstall game and the new drivers later on....thanks anyway

i think it is the nocd patch. I had the same problem with anno but it works with the original cd.

i had a prob with the game and it worked only after i re-installed my gfx card..

btw - the new drivers are 40.72

- So what did you do to get it to work? I have the cd in there but it isn't the retail cd.

- What settings should i check? You reinstalled your gfx card or the drivers...and what settings did you change? Do the new drivers work?

Nevermind i had the wrong release of the crack...the razor version is messed up so i downloaded the one off of the website....thanks for your support though
