Need help with Nero (can it copy SIMS?)

I am trying to copy the sims using a Plextor 24/10/40A and Nero 5.5. OS Windows XP Home.
Recorded image to HD using the settings...
Illegal TOC activated
In data track: for read errors, continue copy activated for mode 1 and 2. read RAW data and write data uncorrected.
In audio track: read audio data with sub channel and ignore read error set.
burn speed 1x
Nero says copied OK but game does not play on either DVD player or Writer.
comparing original and copy in explorer>properties both appear to be identical (same amounts of data)
What am I doing wrong? what to do next?

You will have no problem copying safedisc2 protected titles with your Plexie if you use CloneCD.

Use ClonyXL first to pass the right parameters to CloneCD.

For newer safedisc2 versions, make sure you run your cdr from a cdrom, or enable "hide cdr media" option in clonecd tray tool, as these latest versions check the ATIP of the disc to see if it's a cdr or pressed silver

same amounts of data is explainable. safedisc corrupts information on your cd, the reader/writer replaces it with null code which takes up the same amount of memory as the original.

the sims has safedisc 1, which a plextor just absolutely tears up with clone cd. simply set it to RAW and DAO and you are in the green.
