Please take a couple of seconds to reply to my question, which is very simple......

How do I run an cd image created with CdClone on my hard drive..... in other words, what program will do what I need?

ok..... I did that, but I need one thing explained..... see my prob is my cd rom is f'ed and I'm trying to reinstall.... so, being in a network environment, I went to another pc and ran cdclone, then copied the image to my hd.... I then installed daemon tools, but I failed to get to work..... exactly what do I do?

I left out that the image is of the install disc for the cdrom drive.

Run Daemon Tools, you'll see the icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.
Right click, then goto Virtual CD, then Device #, then mount image.
Mount the image from there (the .img file)
Right click again and goto emulation and select the type of emulation that is required.

PS:
If the game is Securom New 4.8 (very new games), then Daemon Tools won't be able to emulate it. You may need to download an mds file from their site, or download Alcohol 120% which is another program which is able to emulate Securom New (New).
