No. CDRWin is the copy method to stage the BIN file for patching.

This depends on what game you are trying to copy, as far as patching games you can use the universal ea patcher with clone cd but to apply ppf patches you need cdrwin.To do this create a cue file with clonecd, load the cue file into cdmage and patch the img file.
