Hi,

I'm using Nero version 5.5.8.3

Every time I start to write something, it says there's been a reading error and that if I continue to burn, some things may not function properly. I'm fairly new to all of this.....

Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?

Thanks

have you continued burning to see if its an actual problem, or just a warning?

maybe updating your aspi (apsi? nah, aspi) to the latest version would help as well. another option is updating to the latest version of nero, and seeing if its just a problem in 5.5.8.3

dude. i had a similar problem with this version of nero
i fixed it by uninstalling and re installing with a newer version.
go to www.nero.com there is a new version out 5.5.9.14
and accourding to their site they will release a newer version
approx 2nd / 5th nov.

hope this helps

dude i simpley meant clone cd may be better for him as it can copy 1.1 and therfore by-pass the read error. it was just a sudgestion from me to him.

you don't have to be a fu****g smart arse.

before i start, let me ask you to read posts before responding.

that said, he said everytime he starts to burn, there is a read error. that implies the error is with reading the info before burning, which does not mean he's copying straight from a disc. of course, since clonecd is a solution only for 1:1 backups, of COURSE it would be useful for burning those data cd's.

sorry, DUDE, but i think you are a dick. no offense meant, again.
