HELP! HP cd writer plus 8100i

I have a hp cd writer plus 8100i and the drivers are not compatible with my operating system (win 2000 pro), can you please tell me where to get the right drivers??? the answer I received from HP is "we can't do anything for you, bye!".

If I have read the below referenced web page correctly, your device IS compatible with W2K and the drivers are supplies as part of the W2K product. The incompatibilities relate to copying software like Easy CD Creator.
