HELP! My cd's are empty after a successful burn

My last post on this was deleted. Please don't delete this aswell...

I am experiencing problems when I burn my CDs. The process scompletes successfully, but the CD is totally empty when I try to access it. It reports 648MB free space, but it has been burned....

Has anyone of you experienced this?
Someone tells me that I have a bad crack on my recording software, but this all happened when I got myself a new cdrecorder...

I have a Yamaha 4416S and I have tried CDRWIN 3.7F, 3.8D and 3.8E.. Same problem on all versions...

What I have not tried is to install something different than CDRWIN...
Maybe Nero?

Of course that is the case.
Your new burner is not supported by 3.7f however the registration details you used for 3.7f are still in your registry and have been blacklisted by subsequent versions of CDRWin.
Therefore as soon as you install a newer version it finds these registry details and rewards you with coasters.
Clean your registry of ALL 'golden hawk' entries before reinstalling newer versions of CDRWin.
