need help

i am thinking of getting a x-box and would lick to now what chip i need if i need one and what dvd-r disc are good for copying games to and what programes i need to copy the games

You should get either xodus, or x-cutor for a madchip. The programs you need are evolutionX and PrimoDVD. As for what dvd's to use, I have no idea. But all dvd-r's should work. The ones that would probably have problems are the really cheap ones.
