Hi, I installed the recent 1.31 (English) No-Cd for Divine Divinity and when I attempt to launch the game I get the error to put the game disc in.

I burned a copy of my originals and when I put the copied game disc in it allows me to run.

Question: Doesn't a no-cd mean that once I replace the fixed exe with the original exe, I won't need the disc?

Did I do something wrong?

Please help.

That's because it isn't a No-CD patch; rather, it's a fixed executable to avoid Safedisk/CD-R protections. From what I can tell, you need the CD because, even with a full installation selected, there is still some data that is needed from the disk (the most obvious example being the opening cinematic). I'm sure these files could be copied to your hard drive, but you'll have to wait for an actual No-CD patch.

Try copying the missing files to HD anyway - it just might work. Dont put too much faith in it though.

i know it always has to read the intro movies... so if you could find them and copy them to your hd?? other than that, you might need to look for your CD again :/
