Are you using a different CD-rom drive so you can copy cd to cd? Or are you just using your burner to copy cd to hdd back to cd-r??
OK, if you have 2 cd drives and the cd-rom drive won't read your game, make sure your game is clean and scratch free then try again. If that doesn't work, use your burner to go cd to hdd to cd-r.
If you only have the one drive and it doesn't work, try another psx game to see if it will read. Clone CD WILL copy so if it's not picking it up I would safely bet its your drive that just won't read it. Try cleaning your drive would be the only other thing i could suggest. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
If you get too fed up, buy a Plextor
It says that it has read the cd and it doesn't come up that there was any errors I have to cd roms and I have tried it both ways could it be the disc I'm using?
All my games are slightly to badly scratched from my 4 year old getting ahold of them is there any place I can go to to download games then copy them onto disc?
Hi there
I presume you have checked to see if your reader and rewriter are clone compaterble??
If not try the cdclone web site .
Also have you got the settings correct for the psx game...i myself have a detection program called 'cloney' that detects various protection on discs..then you can start cdclone up from there and it passes on the parameters needed.
I have also found that on some psx games that it is best if you slow down your read speed to at least 8x..and donot write faster than 4x...also close down all you programs that are running in the background..it frees off your system resourses.
If the discs are badly scratched ..think about getting a cd scratch repair kit from most electrical outlets, dixons, comet etc..worked for me
Settings for clone
read sub channel data from data tracks.on.
read sub channel data from audio tracks .on.
Then do not repair sub channel data.on. (on the writer
Sorry so long winded but hape it will help.
