Can someone tell me where to find a good guide on how to copy PS2 games. I have only a CDRW, should I save up for a DVDRW to install in my computer? Would that be easier.
In my opinion you need both: A cd-rw to copy the cd based PS2 games and a DVD-RW (such as the Pioneer A04) to copy dvd based PS2 games.
I would use Clone CD to copy the PS2 cd based games.(If your burner is 100% compatible) Check to see if it is HERE! (http://elby.ch/english/products/clone_cd/writers/a.html)
Then use Prassi Primo DVD to copy DVD based PS2 games....
You can get Clone CD & Primo DVD HERE! (http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk/Downloads.htm)
And you can get tutorials for both HERE! (http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk/Tutorials.htm)

It depends if wanna play only cdr backups or not. I would recommend the Pioneer A04 if have the cash, as you would have the best of both worlds, Cdr and dvd-r copying, also a lot of PS2 games are coming out on DVD format now.
check out the link below for help on copying.

how can you tell when you rent/buy a psx2 game if its cd based or dvd based?
Look on the back of the game case or on the disc itself.... It will say "Compact Disc" which is cd based or "DVD-ROM" which is DVD based.... Its that simple....
