Conflict Desert Storm

For anyone trying to make a working backup of this game that cant because there isnt a no-cd or fixed exe available yet this is what i did to make it work.

1. make a clone image of the original ( i believe its safedisc 2.70.0030, at least this is what my safedisc unwrapper says it is )

2. download INSEKTORS the latest version ( i tried unwrapping the exe file with the safedisc unwrapper and it says it doesnt yet support safedisc 2.7 ....correct me if im wrong im no expert )

3. fire up the INSEKTORS program and browse your system for the clone cd image of CDS , then hit the IMAGE PREPARATION button to prepare the cloned image .

4. burn the image back to cd and then tick the PLAY INSEKTORS and HIDE CD/R-W boxes.

5. voila !.....the game plays .

this worked for me anyway, i have the following :

HP CD WRITER +8000 2.5C ( SLOW AS HELL ! )
windows ME
320 mb RAM
GeForce 4 MX 420 ( not a bad card for the money...£49 !! )
AMD DURON 800

I've got the German nocd for Conflict Desert Storm also.
I will mail it to GCW and they should make it available for everyone. Be patient please.
