For instance, imagine that you will burn files from a network, floppy or another CDROM. You will obviously enable file caching, and to guarantee your copy you will enable the simulation, followed by write and close session.
When you trigger the write button, Nero will first read all the files and cache in your HD. So Nero will simulate the burn reading from this cache, and everything will run ok. But when Nero start the efetive burning, it will DISCARD the cache and will read all the files again!
Depending on the speed of the source media (eg. floppy), you will surely get a buffer underrun. (this really hapened with me)
