Swap method for PSX?

My friend has the Gameshark 1.92 for the PSX, but it's the one that goes in the parallel port. Is there anyway to do a swap trick using this version of the Gameshark? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure which version of Gameshark is able to swap. It was out for a very short time and the people at Interact pulled it back as fast as they could, I tried but never found one.

The way the swap was suppose to work is you put in the original Playstation game, anyone would do, and then enter the CD rom or the section that would play the game music, start the file so the system reads the disk and then back out, remove the disk after it stops spinning and put in the import or back up and hit start.

It's the same as the gamehunter except it needs to read part of a file before you can swap, you might need spring as well to hold down the lid sensor.

It' been a long time since I first heard of how to do this so if it doesn't work sorry, I think it was 1997 when I heard about the gameshark swap.
