What a stupid question!
what kind of response is that?
the Safedisc 2 version number is not listed on the back of the box. And there's a couple of different versions, so why is my question so stupid?

Theres a tool out there called Safedisc Analyser which tells you which exact version of Safedisc youre dealing with.
Even more so if you use boolseyes safedisc cleaner you dont have to bother about the version number at all (except Safediscv1, but thats what riscs SD1 unwrapper is for).
You couldve found that out with a simple search or by just keeping your eyes open.
look the reason y i asked is becuase i can backup SD2 protected games without the need for a crack or anything. However recently i noticed that some of them will play in my reader (DVDrom) but some will only play in my HP burner which is a different burner than the copy was produced in.
I'm sorry for wasting your time.

Also search for and consider the ATIP check. Try using Clone CD's Hide CD-R Media feature to get around the ATIP check.
