View Full Version : Fixing Scratches
Hi! I tried to make a backup copy of my Ace Combat 2 but like, I found that after I let my cousin borrow it, it had some scratches on it. I didn't think it would matter, but when I burned it using Nero and the instructions on www.psxcopyworld.uk, it like just stopped at the Namco logo sign. I think it might be the scratch on the original cd, so, Does anyone know how I can fix the scratch? Thanks

This may help.

you could try simply cleaning the cd with washing up liquid and warm water...or you can get hold of a special cd polish from your local audio agent.....
another thing you could try is reading the cd in your writter if you havnt already....

I always use some fine car wax. Not too gritty. That does the trick for me.

that's funny, I use a special CD polishing compound and I've always said it smells like car wax, so I've always wondered if I was paying $10 for a 6oz tube when I could pay $5 for a mega amount of turtle wax and do the same thing.
