Hi. I'm new to burning CDs. I have a TEAC W58E, with Nero 5.0.3.8 software (this came with the burner hardware).

I haven't had any problems with this setup, but I'm curious if there is other software compatible to both my burner and Windows ME that would be even better. I'll wait until I get a more powerful computer before I consider upgrading the hardware, so for now I'm just wondering about reasonable software possibilities.

I mostly burn audio and data backup CDs of MP3 music. I also like to make compilations of tracks from my various "commercial" CD collection, so I somtimes make copies from audio CD to audio CD. If there is software especially good for music, I'd like to try it.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Adaptec Easy Cd Creator 4 (Deluxe) has excellent audio burning capabilities, but some people say that it's crap.I use it for copying ISO images to disk it has a good validater for the ISO images(whether or not its a good image).Try it for yourself,I've never had a problem with it.
