I have an LG burner and have the Blindread and Easy creator packages. However I am new to the use of patches and am struggling to succeed.
I would be grateful for any help.

Get rid of Easy CD Cremator plz. Although Blindread is a good program, many people prefer Clone CD (http://www.elby.ch) - also check this site on the supported writers page to see what your drive is or is not capable off
Clony XXL (http://clony.insomnia-online.net/) will help you out with Clone CD by telling you what protection is being used and then it passes the correct settings onto Clone CD for you.
