CDRWin/PSXCopy won't see my burner!

Both progs see the drive as a reader, but refuse to recognise it as a burner.
I'm running an HP 8250i IDE as a slave to a Pioneer DVD. I've changed the device settings as advised by CDRWin - no luck.
I do have EasyCDCreator, but don't know if it's possible (or how) to back up PSX games with this prog.

maybe you should try updating your ASPI drivers.I have an H.P.7200 int ide, CDRWin recognizes it fine.

What cdrwin version you got i know of this problem only with
below v3.8a when your got a blank disk in the drive it won't
Recognize the drive

try cdrwin 3.7a i used to have a hp 8100i and it
was brill no probs what so ever. i say used to have because ive now got a sony crx 140e so i can use clone cd, hope this helps
