Are there any other programs that have the same features as DirectCd. A different program that has the ability to use my cd-rw like a hard drive.

Yes there is another one I've heard of and it is one of the best programs out there N.T.I CD-Maker 2000 Pro. it has a utility called file-cd just like direct-cd.
