I was in germany a few weeks ago, and I bought Final Fantasy 7 and a few other games for my son since he wanted them. Problem is now that I'm back in Canada we are unable to play the games and I am wondering if there is a way to patch the games to play here in Canada?
Most of the games work, except for Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 9. On the T.V. both of them scroll after using a... generic color code finder... whatever that is...

Can someone please help me so my son can play the games I bought him?

Try looking at http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx.shtml for patches and tutorials. Post back if you still have any more questions.

Presumably you have a CD-Writer...

You have assumed correct, that I do...
I've tried the patches for both Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 9 but both still scroll. Is there any way to fix that?
