I have no probs making backups but I would like to know how to add files ie., patches and/or updates to a backup? I would like to be able to add for example the bonus pak for UT so I don't have to hunt them down and download them over and over everytime I restore my HD. I can make backup cds on separate cds but would like to keep them on the game cds whenever possible. I currently have a Plextor 12/10/32 CDRW, Fireburner Ver1.03/1.06, BlindRead 3, Adaptec EasyCD Creator (yeah I know not too many people like the last one but I use it for Direct CD and SpinDoctor. lol)
Thanks in advance for any and all help.
Hi!
What you need is a multisession CD : each time you'll add files to it, they will be add in a new session, whose TOC will display all sessions.
To do that, when you burn, close the session and leave the disc open.
Then, to add files, insert the old CD in the drive, open Easy CD, and click "import session". The files already burned will appear. You can add, remove, and move files in this session. When the CD looks like you want, burn it closing session and leaving the disc open.
Files you didn't touch will be displayed in the new TOC, so you can still access them from the new session, files you deleted will be still there, but won't appear in the new session, exactly like if they were deleted, exept they still take some place on the CD. Files you moved will appear where you moved them without taking any extra place, and files you add will be there too.
You can still display the old session TOC going to "session manager" in the start menu.
