I see patches for games everywhere. What good are they for? Will i still need to patch my games if i get the messiah mod chip?

if ur a messiah user u dont need any...

the patches are good to u if u have games that u would like to change the colour sytem on

IE: add a NTSC or PAL colour selector at game startup.

Elkay

How do you use patches and what do they do?
How do you copy them onto your Cd Writer?
Wot else do they do?
Can you come up with a solution?

I patched my first game yesterday, which was the we6 and the full english patch. I must say how easy it was to do providing you use the correct software. The link posted by Jay_83 details this exactly with CDRWin, another simple guide to using ppf-o-matic can be found at psx copyworld (http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk/Ppf-o-Matic_tutorial.htm)

Hope that this helps
