two back up games fifa 2002 & ssx snowboarding work perfectly on a ps2 with neo 2.2 fitted but will not work on a brand new ps2 with messiah fitted. verb discs used any ideas?

also ps2 with messiah fitted sometimes various ps2 games try to load as a ps1 game?

yes a friend of mine had the same problem

are the games you use patched ?

if so thats your problem
