Hello last week when having a look at this site ive seen some posts that say you cant copy the boot on a cd (this is correct because if you could you would not need mod chips) ive also seen on this site that for a boot disc to work you need a modchip anyway(whats the point having one then) but today i downloaded file of kazaa that you burn to disk then use on a psx 2 as a boot disc it also says no need for a bootdisk..
Ihave not yet tried it because i dont have a psx 2 just downloaded it for my sister who has one ..
anybody got an opinion on this or has anyone tried this ..
DAMN, Here we go again. Dont know why people keep falling for this. There is NO CD_R boot disc for ps2 that will load backups and there NEVER will be. It must be a ORIGINAL GS2, AR2, or Region-x to boot a backup and you MUST have a modchip. I am not trying to sound mean but this should be common knowledge, It has been posted in this forum for over a year now.

I have not been in here for a year and i did look up some of the posts but i have not got the time to look at all of them.Iknow its repeditive with newcomers as i frequent another forum and the same questions keep coming up.i was just exicted about this i needed a quick answer .unlucky for me its was to good to be true.its actually a psx 1 i have with a modchip the trouble is if i get a psx 2 will my backup games play on it with a modchip or will only psx 2 backups play on it again with a modchip.as i have lots of backups for the psx1
PS1 backups will play on a PS2 as long as you have a mod chip. Highly rec. the Messiah......(direct boot everything) No swapping and other bulls!@t........
