Will the 16x plextor burner, make perfect back-ups, that will play in any cd-rom or writer, of all protections including Safedisk v2.

NO.I did a BIG misstake and baught this writer.It CAN NOT read subch.data from data track's.I even got error msg.in clone cd:not compatible!
It's a great burner exept from that.

That's very strange...I've checked Clone home page and Plex 16x10A has the same characteristics of the 12x10A...btw, I've been able to make perfect copies of games which needed subchannel datas to be read...I don't know if it's a firmware matter or whatever else...just had this experience.

I have newest firmware and clonecd 3110,i can read/write subchannel data from audio tracks,but not from data tracks.I asked elby(clone team)and here are what they answered:
Dear Mr ****.
Thank you for your inquiry.
Unfortunately, your writer is unable to copy subchannels from data tracks.You need a different reader when copying
protected CDs.

I think plextor 24x10x40 is able to read both sub's.very annoing(plextor 16x10x40 cost about 400$ in Norway:(
