View Full Version : Will a 64M flash card get too samll in the future???
Ok I am looking into getting a flash linker and card. I only need to be able to play one game at a time so I'm thinking a 64M card would be fine. Will games in the future ever get bigger than 64M so I wont be able to play them? Or for any other reason will i need a bigger cartridge to play future games?
thanks
I'm almost sure future games (if GBA keeps growing like this) will go beyond 64Mbit...
Try Lik-Sang they have a 256M flash card
I think the Roms will get bigger than 64M in the very near future. Just wait till Zelda comes out. You should buy at least 128M so that you can play all games for about one more year.
You also will have EEPROM then and don't need to wait for new patches. If you wanna be sure that you can play all future games get a 256M cart cause the GBA cannot handle Roms bigger than 256Mbit. So that's the limit anyway.
Oh, and you should also note that the 256M card consumes 50% less power than the other card.

Actually, not 256M card consumes 50% power less, but all flash advance "PRO" consumes 50% power less.
link-to-us.com is selling at US$194.5 for 256M kit!
