Best burner for backups?

I'm thinking that my current burner may be my problem with making good backups. Are there any specific burners out there that are best for burning psx games? I have been hearing things about Plextor Plexwriters, but I thought I would get some expert opinions first.

Plextor is one of the Best out there to get..I personally myself own 2 Scsi Plextor Burners and 1 Pioneer A03 DVD Burner with Firewire on it..
Or Try Yamaha Burners..Another Great Burner..

Disagree the liteons are best for all backups including sd1,sd2 etc
