I have a Japanese Playstation 2 SCPH-15000 equipped with an unknown chip that only PS2 CDR patched games with the Utility Disc 1.01. And when I try to boot Winning Eleven 6, I get a black screen. If anyone is reading this thread, please list the probable causes of this malfunction.

try reburning the cd. I had a problem with black screen when i was burning on cheaper cd's.

In the end i used decent cd's and used cdrwin to burn
