Is there a patch for Ripto's Rage so I can play the NTSC version on my PAL machine? All I could see on the website was a protection patch.

Have you tried getting the patch and looking at the readme ?
Many of the patches (and Spyro 2 was a good one with cheats and trainers) have a PAL<>NTSC function in them.
