My Ricoh only burns at 1x HELP!

Everything was fine when I was using easy cd creator but when I hads to install clone cd to be able to transfer cds over ICQ thats when I ran into problems. I installed clone cd without uninstalling east cd creator and since than I can not get my burner to copy faster than 1x. I have traied everything! I have even reformatted my HD twice but with no luck. I-ve tried using different programs. Can anyone help please! BTW. I have a Ricoh 4x burner. Please email me at alienpsyche@home.com
