Which CD-R can be read by DVD players ?????

I just copied an Audio CD on a CD-R but my DVD player doesn't recognise it.

Does anybody know how to read CD-R on a DVD? (not a DVD from a PC of course)

All 3rd generation dvd players can read cdr and cdrw
however if you have a 1st or 2nd generation dvd player (one of the first out) then some cdr might give you problems so you should experiment... either that or you have done something very stupid for it not to work (ie audio tracks in mp3 format)
