Sims House Party - data3.cab problem

greetings....

i have a problem installing house party,.
from a 1:1 backup....

at 85% it freezes and tells me to
get disk 0 where the 'data3.cap' is...

can anyone tell me what to do.
i tried already daemon-tools.

i cleaned it and i used toothpaste...

it worked... i couldn't believe!!!

i felt like a fool, .. but it woorked!

i used toothpaste on my max payne and it worked.
the next day my cd smelled lovely but it was all cloudy.how weird.
i cleaned it properly and thurourghly
