Hi to everyone,
As the titles says I'm new owner of this burner. The problems I have are:
1- In CDRWIN 3.8B, it won't show up in the burner list and it isn't in the GoldenHawk list anyway. I don't know how they manage their support but I tried FireBurner and it got my CD-R specs immediately and with good precision.
2- Nero 5.5.2.4 (just upgraded this week) sees the drive with all it's specifications and everything goes very well until I try to burn a very plain data CD-R (just grab files from some directories and drag them to Nero). It ####ts and after a couple of munites I get this error: SCSI/ATAPI COMMAND TIMEOUT ERROR.
Followed by other errors that aborts the process. Fortunately it doesn't write anything so the CD is always blank.
I tought the burner itself might be in the problem but it works very well with the included Easy CD Creator 5.0 and it's also very fast!
So if anyone can help it will be appreciated because I can't get informations from either Nero or Teac yet and I'm puzzled about all this.
Thanks to any incoming reply,
Reno
