Firmware?

I have an error since a week that I am not sure what to do, I have an old but workable Mitsubishi cd-rw 4420a, but the firmware link of almost all pages (includying GCW) is outdated an I can't get it, I don't know if that is going to solve my problem but I think it is worth to try.
The error is :
The device MITSBISH CDRW4420a [1.1k] at han 1, id 0, lun 0 reported an error:3, 64 C0
please ##### the manual of the device, that triggered the error.
