Allright, here is my delima. I have the latest version of CloneCD. It works great inwindows 98. But in windows 2000 whenver i try to burn it copys the cd ok then it pauses and says "Error writing to sony CRX160E" It works fine on the same box with the same version of clonecd with the same writer in 98 but not in 2k, My friend has 2k at work and a sony wrinter, not sure if its the 160 and he says it works fine. Ive updated my aspi layer using force-aspi. Nero works great in windows 2000 and so does CDRwin, why doesnt clone cd, does anyone have any ideas whatsoever?

In Advance Thankyou for all your help.

I can't help directly with your problem, but it might be a good idea to ditch Win2k. I heard it just never seems to work when you want it to, either get 98/95 or ME. I think ther are just too many bugs in Win2k.

Nah, I love 2k, it has never crashed and runs everything i need it to run, except for clonecd, thats why I dualboot to 98. So i can run clonecd but i hate to have to reeboot.

geez, Win2k Pro is the most stable Windoze operating system out there (I have not tried WinXP yet).

I run CloneCD with no problems in Win2k Pro SP1 or SP2. I would uninstall CloneCD, use the program to clean out the CloneCD registry settings, defrag then reinstall the latest version of CloneCD.

Like I said, mine is solid as a rock and the only reason I ever go to WinME (I have a dual boot system) is to play games. All my other work is done in Win2k Pro :)
