i just bought a new stereo only to discover after i bought it that it doesnt play copied audio cds

is there a special way i have ti burn them to oevr come this sort of protection
or wat program to burn the cd with so the stero doesnt detect its a copy
or even the actualy cd itelf liek maybe the cd
if any1 knows anything please reply and help me

Check your cd's manual.

Some audio cd players don't like cdrs and cdrws.

Have you burned audio cd's before? ie. Make sure you haven't burnt a bunchful of mp3 files (just checking all eventualities). Secondly - are you using CD-RW cos must players don't accept them.

new stereo system, meaning that you have an actual cd player, or a dvd player doubling as a cd player? if its the second case, a lot of dvd players dont play copied cd's because of the reflectivity or the ink color or something. in short, read the manual, its probably outlined in the first 10 pages whether or not it plays copied audio cd's. i have ******-rigged my stereo using a Y adapter and my ancient 1992 RCA cd player, so that i could play copies.

firstly thanx guys for the help:)

ok umm ghosthacker yep ive burned heaps of audios cds as in cda not as in mp3 and they work on other steros so thats nto the prob
and they are cd-r not cd-rw i know nothing can play cd-rw except computrs nto even psx

podunkvilelr its just a standard 5 cd player not a dvd one

themix and the low speeds ill try that thanx
